Pittsburgh, PA. – March 13, 2009 – Plextronics, Inc., an international technology company that specializes in printed solar, lighting and other electronics, announced today that it has been selected as a 2009 GoingGreen East 50 Private Company. The GoingGreen East 50 Award is given to private, emerging companies creating new business opportunities in green technology.
Plextronics and the other GoingGreen East 50 winners were selected from among hundreds of other technology companies nominated by investors, bankers, journalists and industry insiders. The AlwaysOn editorial team conducted a three-month selection process to finalize the 2009 list. The GoingGreen East winners were recognized at the GoingGreen East Conference at the Four Seasons in Boston, MA, on March 9-11.
